This picture illustrates selection boxes from four well-known manufacturers in the 1940s-1950s; Guys, Lion, Brocks and Wessex - each with their own distinctive style. As with all commercial products, image was important and manufacturers went to great lengths to produce eye-catching box designs. The Brocks name survived well into the 90's
